Jakub Moder (born April 7, 1999 in Szczecinek ) is a Polish football player who is under contract with the first division club Lech Posen . The midfielder has been a Polish U21 international since October 2019 .

Career

Jakub Moder, born in Szczecinek in northern Poland , comes from the youth department of Lech Posen . In the 2016/17 season he was for the first time in the reserve team, which played in the fourth-highest Polish division . In the following season he was an undisputed regular at Lech Posen II. On April 2, 2018 (29th matchday) he made his debut in the 3-1 away win against Wisła Krakau in the top Polish division when he came on as a substitute for Darko Jevtić in the closing stages has been. On June 18, 2018, he moved to second division Odra Opole on loan for the entire 2018/19 season . Back at Lech Posen, Jakub Moder developed into a rotation player in the first team in the 2019/20 season . On February 8, 2020 (21st matchday), he scored in a 3-0 home win against Raków Częstochowa for the first time in the Kolejorz jersey .

National team

Between August 2015 and September 2016, Jakub Moder played eleven international matches for the Polish U17 national team . He then worked eight times for the U18s until March 2017 . From June 2017 to March 2018 he completed 10 international matches in the U19 , in which he scored a goal. Between September 2018 and March 2019, he played in eight international matches for the U20 , in which he scored twice. Moder has been Poland's U21 international since October 2019 .
