Athletic career

Putnocký started playing football at BŠK Bardejov . From there he moved to FC Steel Trans Ličartovce in the second division. Several times he missed promotion to the Corgoň League as a substitute goalkeeper with the team . With the club, which was finally renamed MFK Košice in 2005 , Putnocký rose to the Corgoň League in 2006 and established himself there over time as a regular goalkeeper. In 2009 he reached the cup final with the team, in which the title was won with goals from Marko Milinković , Róbert Cicman and Ján Novák with a 3-1 win against Artmedia Petržalka .

Putnocký nevertheless left the club in the summer of 2009 and joined the reigning champions ŠK Slovan Bratislava . Three points behind MŠK Žilina he missed defending the championship title with the club, but with a 6-0 final win against FC Spartak Trnava he won his second with the team around Michal Breznaník , Jakub Sylvestr , Karim Guédé and Kornel Saláta Cup victory. With Slovan Had was three times Slovak champion and cup winner. Putnocký was Slovan's goalkeeper.

In 2015 Putnocký moved to the Polish Ekstraklasa , first to Ruch Chorzów and since 2016 he has been playing there for Lech Posen .
