Johannes Adolph Ibach (born October 17, 1766 in Lüttringhausen , † September 14, 1848 in Barmen ) was a German piano maker .

Ibach founded a piano manufacturing workshop in Beyenburg in 1794 , which later became the Ibach GmbH . After building his first table piano and restoring the organ of the Kreuzherrenkloster von Beyenburg , he built his own workshop in Rittershausen in 1800 . In 1806 he moved his business to Wupperfeld and finally in 1817 to Unterbarmen , where he had a residential and factory building built. At the age of 73 he handed the factory over to his sons Carl Rudolf and Richard. He was a member of the Freemason Lodge Friedrich Wilhelm in Bonn on the Iron Cross .
