Johannes Bergfeldt

Johannes Bergfeldt , also Johannes Bergfeld (born November 21, 1886 in the German Empire , † after 1959, probably in Berlin ) was a German actor on the stage and in film.

Live and act

Bergfeldt's early stage years are largely in the dark. In the 1920s and 1930s he tinged through Germany mostly with Berlin touring theaters. It was not until the 1938/39 season, when he ended up at the Silesian state theater in Glogau, that Bergfeldt took on permanent engagements again. This was followed by obligations to Bernburg and Elbing in East Prussia until all German theaters were closed in 1944. After 1945 he was a member of the Berliner Volksbühne ensemble.

Bergfeldt only made his film debut when he was over 40. For the first ten years he was seen in the Reich German, then, after a further decade of filming, from 1947 in East Zonal DEFA productions. In front of the camera Bergfeldt played an abundance of minor and minor roles, mostly low characters: sometimes he was a room waiter, a servant, a lackey and an office manager, sometimes a bride's father, an official and a sailor. Bergfeldt is to be proven by 1960 by address in Berlin W 30.
