Johannes Boris Borowski (* 1979 in Hof an der Saale ) is a German composer .

life and work

Johannes Boris Borowski studied composition in Berlin and Paris, with Hanspeter Kyburz , Jörg Mainka and Marco Stroppa . Since 2007 he has been teaching composition, analysis and aural training at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin .

His compositions have been interpreted by renowned musicians and formations such as the Ensemble intercontemporain , the Ensemble Modern , the Ensemble Mosaik , the International Contemporary Ensemble, the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, Pierre Boulez , Susanna Mälkki , Enno Poppe , Pierre-Laurent Aimard and many others.
