In his artistic beginnings Johannes Braig dealt with constructivism and suprematism . Like his role model Kasimir Severinovich Malevich , he returned to figurative painting, setting new accents with strong reduction and slogans. In his most recent works he moves in the tension between figuration and abstraction; he works with the subjects aliens, faces and reclination after Henry Moore .
