Johannes Eller (* 1749 in Ronsdorf (now part of Wuppertal ); † March 15, 1814 in Cologne ) was the mayor of Elberfeld.

Eller was born in Ronsdorf in 1749 and baptized there on October 11, 1749. His father was the mayor of 1763 Johann Kaspar Eller (1727–1796) and his wife Maria Katharina Hoffstadt (1730–1809). He came to Elberfeld, where he acquired citizenship on April 30, 1774, and became a man on the vicarage. In the same year he became a common man and a member of the council the following year, which he initially remained until 1778. In 1779 Eller was unsuccessfully proposed for the office of mayor. He was not elected until 1780. After a year in office, he became a city judge in 1781. Then he was from 1782 to 1784 and again in 1786 in the Elberfeld Council.

Eller had been married to Isabella Wilhelmina Siebel since March 15, 1774, with whom he had three children. She was the daughter of the mayor from 1750, Johann Wilhelm Siebel (1709–1776).
