Johannes Gradenegger

Johannes Gradenegger (born June 3, 1932 in Hüttenberg ; † December 13, 2009 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and administrative lawyer. Gradenegger was a member of the National Council from 1973 to 1986 .

Life

After primary school, Gradenegger attended a secondary school and completed his schooling in 1950 with the Matura. He then worked as a post office clerk from 1950 to 1965 and also studied at the University of Innsbruck from 1961 to 1965 . Gradenegger received his doctorate in 1965 and from 1965 worked as an administrative lawyer in the service of the Carinthian provincial government. Gradenegger was the secretary of the First Deputy Governor of Carinthia.

In the political field, Gradenegger was active as a state functionary of the Socialist Youth from 1947 , he was also a section chairman, a member of the city management and a member of the district party executive of the SPÖ Villach . Gradenegger also worked as a member of the SPÖ state party executive and represented his party in the National Council from October 11, 1973 to December 16, 1986.
