Johannes Hofmann (politician)
From 1905 to 1918 Hofmann was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament for the Conservative State Association in Saxony , 1919/20 a member of the Saxon People's Chamber and then from 1920 to 1928 again of the Saxon State Parliament . From 1916 to 1918 he acted as the leader of the parliamentary group of the members of the Conservative State Association in the Second Chamber and from 1919 until his death in 1928 he served as the leader of the German National People's Party . Professionally, Hofmann was the director of a stone factory. He lived first in Meissen , from 1921 in Dresden- Blasewitz .
