Johannes Justus (born March 12, 1957 in Kljutschi ) is a German Pentecostal clergyman and acting President of the Federation of Free Church Pentecostal Congregations (BFP). He has also been a member of the main board of the Evangelical Alliance in Germany since 2015 .

Life

As the son of a German Baptist preacher , Justus grew up in the Kazakh part of the Soviet Union . After finishing school, he trained there as a mechatronics and aircraft mechanic . In 1988 Justus emigrated to Germany with his family. In Germany he initially worked as a control technician and project manager. In addition to his professional activity, Justus trained as a pastor at the Beröa theological seminar and was ordained in the Bund Freikirchlicher Pentecostal congregations in 2000 . After pastoral activities in Nienburg an der Weser and Hanover as well as regional church services, he was elected President in 2012.

Private

Johannes Justus has been married to Irene since 1978 and the couple have six children of their own.
