Klyuchi ( Russian Ключи́ ) is a village (selo) in the Altai region ( Russia ) with 8,892 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The place is about 330 km as the crow flies west-southwest of the regional administration center Barnaul in the Kulunda steppe , about 20 km from the border with Kazakhstan .
Klyuchi is the administrative center of the Rajons Kljutschewski and seat of the rural community Kljutschewski selsowet, belong to the next to the village of Klyuchi nor the villages Nowowosnessenka and Platowka.

The village was founded in 1874. Since 1928 Klyuchi has been the center of a Rajon.

Klyuchi is located on the Kulunda - Malinowoje Osero railway line, which opened in 1944 and has only been used for freight traffic since the 2000s. The Rubtsovsk - Mikhailovskoye - Kulunda road runs through the village .
