Johannes Kleinschmidt (politician)
Johann (es) Kleinschmidt (born January 14, 1569 in Kassel ; † March 5, 1611 there ) was mayor of Kassel.
Life
Kleinschmidt was the son of Chancellor Johannes Kleinschmidt (1536–1587) and his wife Catharina Klüppel. He married on April 30, 1599 in Marburg Anna Sixtus († 1628), the daughter of the Marburg professor and councilor Regerus Sixtinus . From 1586 he studied law in Marburg and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He was mayor of Kassel from 1606 to 1609. There he was also the guild master of the Hanseatic League.
