Johannes Möllinger (politician)

Johannes Möllinger (born September 28, 1791 in Pfeddersheim ; † June 10, 1836 there ) was a Hessian economist and liberal politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johannes Möllinger was the son of the economist David Möllinger (1771-1817) and his wife Barbara, nee Schumacher. Möllinger, who was a Mennonite , was an economist in Pfeddersheim. His first marriage was Elisabeth nee Möllinger and his second marriage was Barbara nee Möllinger.

From 1826 to 1830 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 7 / Pfeddersheim .
