Johannes Merz

Johannes Merz (born June 9, 1983 ) is a German actor .

Life

Johannes Merz grew up near Mannheim and graduated from high school in 2002. He got into music at an early age, sang in numerous choirs and an a capella sextet, learned the flute, saxophone and guitar. In 2004 he went to the Rostock University of Music and Theater to study acting . In 2007 Johannes Merz received the scene award at the meeting of German-speaking drama schools in Salzburg and the 1st prize from HMT Rostock for the interdisciplinary project dobranoc, a German-Polish evening of chansons and poetry in-house. After engagements at the Volkstheater Rostock and the Staatstheater Schwerin , he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater Konstanz from 2008 to 2012 . Merz has lived and worked as a freelance actor and speaker in Hamburg since 2012 .
