Johannes Ramharter

Johannes Ramharter (born August 1, 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian art historian and historian.

Life

Ramharter studied art history and law at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1986. In 1987 he graduated as Mag.iur. at the Juridikum of the University of Vienna. In 1989 he passed the state examination of the Institute for Austrian Historical Research. From 1986 to 1990 Ramharter worked as a research assistant and head of the special exhibition organization at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. In 1990 he moved to Kunsttrans as managing director, where he organized, supervised and managed numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. From 1997 to 1998 he worked for the company "hs art service". Since 1998 he has been managing director of the PONTE organization for cultural management.

In addition to the history of the city of Tulln, Ramharter's research focuses on the Salzburg Baroque period , legal-historical issues of the modern age and he writes articles on current exhibitions to be prepared in each case and on weapons science.
