Johannes Rath (politician)

Johannes Rath (born January 23, 1876 in Egenhausen , † February 24, 1945 in Tübingen ) was a German politician of the DVP in Württemberg .

Johannes Rath was mayor in Lustnau . He joined the national liberal German party in 1906 and its successor, the DVP, in 1919 . From 1927 Rath was the successor of Theodor Bickes as regional chairman of the DVP in Württemberg. Rath was a member of the Württemberg state parliament from 1924 to 1932, where he was chairman of the DVP group from 1928. On January 19, 1930 he became a State Councilor and honorary advisory council in the Württemberg government .
