Johannes Rosumek

Franz Johannes "Johann" Rosumek (born May 15, 1883 in Zalenze , Upper Silesia , Prussia ; † November 29, 1938 in Königshütte , Upper Silesia) was a politician belonging to the German minority in the Second Polish Republic . From 1922 to 1935 he was a member of the Polish Sejm in Warsaw . He led the German Party (DP) as chairman from 1922 to 1938. His successor as party chairman was Paul Eschenbach.

Rosumek was an engineer and served as a soldier in the First World War .
