Johannes Steinhardt
Johannes "Hans" Steinhardt (born June 29, 1905 in Oberhausen ; † December 1, 1981 in Dresden ) was a German athlete.
Steinhardt started in his hometown first for the Turnerbund Oberhausen . Due to his studies he moved to Karlsruhe and henceforth competed for FC Phönix .
After he had already achieved third place in the German Championships in 1925 at the age of 20 in the 400 meter hurdles , he became German champions over the 110 meter hurdles in 1927 and 1928 . Because of these achievements, he was the first Karlsruhe athlete to take part in the Olympic Games in 1928 . In Amsterdam he reached the semi-finals, where he was eliminated in fourth place with 15.3 s.
