Johannes Wienholtz

Johannes Wienholtz , also Johann , (born May 5, 1864 in Aurich ; † December 16, 1952 there ) was a German politician ( DHP ).

Life

Wienholtz attended the building trade school in Nienburg / Weser and then learned the carpentry trade. He passed the master craftsman's examination, was a house owner and, as a master carpenter, owner of a carpentry and joinery in Aurich. In addition, he was a member of the Chamber of Crafts , Chief Master of the Carpenters' Guild and from 1914 to 1922 chairman of the local branch of the Northwest German Crafts Association . He was also a member of the Association of East Frisian Retailers and the Protection Association for Trade and Industry based in Braunschweig .

In addition to his professional activity and his professional functions, he was fire chief in Aurich and since 1915 district poor director.

Wienholtz joined the German-Hannoversche Party (DHP) and was mayor of Aurich from 1909 to 1912 and from 1914 to 1921. In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament via constituency 14 (Weser-Ems) . In parliament he was a permanent guest of the Zentrum parliamentary group until May 21, 1924 , after which he was a non-attached member of parliament until the end of the legislative period.
