Giovanni da Legnano , actually Giovanni Oldrendi (* around 1320 in Milan ; †  February 16, 1383 in Bologna ), sometimes also called Johannes de Legnano , was an Italian lawyer , military theorist and canon lawyer at the University of Bologna . Giovanni da Legnano died in Bologna in 1383 and was in high regard at the time of his death.
