John O'Gorman Arundel (born November 4, 1927 in Winnipeg , Manitoba , † September 19, 2002 in Kemptville , Ontario ) was a Canadian ice hockey player who played three games for the Toronto Maple Leafs in National Hockey in the 1949/50 season League has denied.
Career
John Arundel began his career as a hockey player in the Ontario Hockey Association , where he was active from 1944 to 1946. He was under contract with the St. Michael's Majors and the Oshawa Generals for one year each . This was followed by two years in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League , in which the defender was on the ice for the Winnipeg Monarchs . After a season with the Sydney Millionaires , the Canadian played three times in the 1949/50 season for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League , as well as 34 times for the Pittsburgh Hornets of the American Hockey League . He came to other missions in the Pacific Coast Hockey League with the Los Angeles Monarchs .
His other positions as an ice hockey player until the end of his career were without exception teams from medium-strength leagues. One season each with the St. Michael's Monarchs and the Saint John Beavers was followed by three years with the Ottawa Senators in the Quebec Senior Hockey League (1952 to 1955). Arundel finally ended his career in 1954/55 with the Sudbury Wolves in the Northern Ontario Hockey Association .
