John Asare-Antwi
John Asare-Antwi (born November 28, 1935 in Begoro , Eastern Region ) is a former Ghanaian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he was eliminated over 800 m in the first round and reached the semi-finals in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
In 1962 he won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth with the Ghanaian 4-by-440-yard relay.
He set his personal best over 440 yards of 48.2 s (equivalent to 47.5 s over 400 m) in 1962.
