John Baer (actor)
John Baer (born June 6, 1923 in York , Pennsylvania , † January 7, 2006 in Santa Clarita ) was an American actor.
Life
Between 1950 and 1974 John Baer took part in more than 60 film and television productions, mostly in boyish roles. One of the highlights of his career was the lead role in the television series Terry and the Pirates . He is probably best known to German audiences for his role as the greedy heir Paul Trochard in the black comedy We Are Not Angels . He also took on the lead role in the 1958 B-horror film Night of the Blood Beast, directed by Roger Corman . After his acting career, Baer worked in the real estate industry.
On May 30, 1952, the actor married Noureen Jauregui. John Baer died in early 2006 at the age of 82.
