action

Reporters Clark Kent and Lois Lane travel to the small town of Silsby. The occasion is the deepest oil well that has ever been carried out. The hole, which almost reaches the core of the earth, damaged the home of the mole people, a small, very hairy type of human. Horrified by the appearance of the mole people, whose eyes shine in the darkness, a group of the inhabitants of the town of Silsby forms under the leadership of Luke Benson, whose aim is to kill the creatures. Clark Kent tries to prevent this plan in the guise of Superman. With the help of Lois Lane, he succeeds in appeasing the mob by saving Benson's life. Then the hole is closed and blown up by the mole people. Reporter Lois Lane says in a final scene: "They live their lives and we live our lives."

Reviews

"Very mildly from today's perspective, the film achieved its main goal: to advertise the TV series that was launched soon after."
