John Cecil, 7th Earl of Exeter
John Cecil, 7th Earl of Exeter ( February 27, 1700 - April 9, 1722 ) was a British peer and politician.
He was the elder son of John Cecil, 6th Earl of Exeter and Elizabeth Brownlow, daughter of Sir John Brownlow, 3rd Baronet . When his father died on December 24, 1721, he became Earl of Exeter and Baron Burghley and a member of the House of Lords . Since he died unmarried and childless in 1722, his younger brother Brownlow Cecil, 8th Earl of Exeter , inherited the title.
