John Charles Dunne
John Charles Dunne (born October 30, 1937 in Brooklyn ) is Auxiliary Bishop emeritus in Rockville Center .
Life
John Charles Dunne was ordained a priest for the Rockville Center diocese on June 1, 1963 .
Pope John Paul II named him Titular Bishop of Abercornia and Auxiliary Bishop of Rockville Center on October 21, 1988 . He received his episcopal ordination on December 13 of the same year by the Bishop of Rockville Center, John Raymond McGann ; Co- consecrators were James Joseph Daly , Auxiliary Bishop at Rockville Center, and Alfred John Markiewicz , Bishop of Kalamazoo .
On June 22, 2013, Pope Francis accepted his resignation due to reasons of age.
