John D. Jennings

John Douglass Jennings (born April 16, 1920 in Salt Lake City , Utah , United States , † January 1, 1992 in Los Angeles , California , United States) was an American dentist and film producer .

Life

John D. Jennings was born in Salt Lake City to cameraman Gordon Jennings . He worked as a dentist in Brentwood. He produced the film The Face of Jesus in 1961, directed by artist Robert Merrell Gage . This was nominated as best short film at the 1962 Academy Awards.
