John Domingue

John Domingue

John Domingue is a British computer scientist. He is Professor and Associate Director of the Knowledge Media Institute at the Open University in Milton Keynes . He is currently President of the Semantic Technologies Initiative International (STI2), succeeding Dieter Fensel .

He explores the applicability of semantic technologies for automating the administration and development of web services . He has published over 200 articles in the fields of artificial intelligence and the web .

He is the Scientific Director of SOA4All and has been involved in many other research projects. Prof. Domingue chairs the steering committee of the European Semantic Web conference series and is a member of the steering committee of the Future Internet Symposium Series . He coordinates the Future Internet Service Offer working group within the Future Internet Assembly. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Web Semantics .
