John Gwynne Evans

John Gwynne Evans (born November 11, 1941 , † June 14, 2005 ) was an English archaeologist and mollusk researcher (archaeo malacologist ). He was the son of Sir David Evans, director of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine . He studied zoology in Reading and archeology at the Institute of Archeology, London. From 1970 to 2002 he was a lecturer and later professor in Cardiff , Wales.
