John Hanlon (athlete)
John Hanlon ( John Austin Thomas Hanlon; born December 18, 1905 in Portsmouth , † October 17, 1983 in Morpeth ) was a British sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 , he was eliminated over 400 m in the preliminary run.
In 1930 he won silver at the British Empire Games in Hamilton with the English 4-by-110-yard relay. About 220 and 440 yards he was eliminated in the advance.
In 1929 he became English champion over 220 and 440 yards.
