John Joseph Boardman (born November 7, 1894 in Brooklyn , USA ; † July 17, 1978 ) was auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn .

Life

John Joseph Boardman received on 21 May 1921, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 28, 1952, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Gunela and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Brooklyn. The Bishop of Brooklyn, Thomas Edmund Molloy , ordained him episcopal on June 11 of that year ; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn, Raymond Augustine Kearney , and the Coadjutor Bishop of Wheeling , Thomas John McDonnell .

In October 1977 Pope Paul VI took. the resignation submitted by John Joseph Boardman for reasons of age.
