John Linaker
John Linaker ( John Henry Linaker; born November 16, 1939 ) is a former British obstacle , middle-distance and long-distance runner .
In 1966 he was starting for Scotland at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston seventh over 3000 m obstacle and was eliminated over a mile in the lead.
In 1968 he finished fourth in the Polytechnic Marathon .
Six times he was Scottish champion over 3000 m obstacle (1960-1963, 1965, 1966) and once in cross country .
