John Lone
John Lone (born October 13, 1952 in Hong Kong ) is a Sino-American actor. Lone was born as Ng Kwok-leung in Hong Kong.
biography
He grew up in an orphanage and was adopted by a couple from Shanghai. Lone later received his training at the Chiu Chiu Academy in Hong Kong and at the Peking Opera . His first significant role was that of a gangster in The Year of the Dragon (1985). His most important role followed two years later: the lead in Bernardo Bertolucci's feature film The Last Emperor (1987). He played other roles in M. Butterfly 99 (1993) or Rush Hour 2 (2001), among others .
