John Martinus (born July 27, 1939 in Copenhagen ; † August 17, 2016 there ) was a Danish actor .
biography
Martinus was active as an actor since 1954. Although he had no acting training, he played in many Danish film and television productions . He also embodied in the theater different roles in numerous plays and revues in Betty Nansen Teatret , Aarhus Teater , Amager scenes , Nørrebros Teater and ny Teater Det . He first achieved greater attention through his appearances from 1978 to 1981 in the Danish television series Matador as Ingeborg's former husband Holger Jørgensen .
