Amin René Marott Jensen (* 22. January 1970 in Albertslund , Denmark ) is a Danish actor , entertainer , presenter , singer , musician and stand-up comedy - comedy .

biography

Jensen was active in his youth with weightlifting and powerlifting , where he achieved some successes at competitions and championships at regional level in Zealand and at national championships in Denmark, as well as won a bronze medal at the Nordic Junior Championships.

Jensen made his first stage debut in December 1993 at Café Din's in Copenhagen . As a result, he was hired as a singer, comedian and television presenter for several Danish television programs and TV shows . Jensen also got his own shows on Danish television where he was a studio host. His best-known appearances on television were in the 1997 quiz show Hvem er Hvem on TV 2 , from 2000 to 2004 in the television show Hit med Sangen with 63 episodes, in 2006 in Endelig Fredag on DR1 and in 2008 in Charlie Quizen on TV2 Charlie . In 1998 he had his first one-man show with the program 150 Kilo Over Bæltestedet , which was followed by the programs Stort , Hit Med Amin , Blæs På DK , Stort II and Fyrre, fit og fattig . All of his programs, with the exception of Fyrre, fit og fattig , have now also been released on DVD in Denmark . At some public performances he got musical support from Søren Sebber Larsen's trio. Jensen also worked as a Danish voice actor in various cartoons and animated films . As a film actor he starred in the children's film The Jewel of the Desert ( Ørkenens juvel ) and in the Danish Christmas series Olsenbandens første kup , a prequel of the Olsen Gang .

In 2008 Jensen took part in the Danish preselection, the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix for the Eurovision Song Contest , with the song "Luciano My Friend", about the late tenor Luciano Pavarotti . At the competition he came in 7th place in the Danish final.

In February 2010, the rumor was falsely spread on Facebook that Jensen had died of a heart attack , which was also picked up by the Danish press. Amin Jensen resisted and filed a criminal complaint.
