John McSweeney Junior
John McSweeney Jr. (born August 26, 1915 in New York City , † May 19, 1999 in Redondo Beach , California ) was an American film editor .
Life
McSweeney was involved as an independent editor in around 60 productions from 1952 to 1986. From 1971 he worked mainly for television films and a few series.
McSweeney was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Editing in 1963 for his work on Mutiny on the Bounty . He also received a nomination for the Eddie Award.
