John Arthur George Moore (born May 18, 1933 in Aldershot ) is a former British cross-country skier and biathlete .

John Moore took part in the 1956 Winter Olympics in cross-country skiing in Cortina d'Ampezzo and ran over 15 kilometers in 58th place and over 30 kilometers 47. In Squaw Valley , he also competed in both competitions in the 1960 Games was 44th and 38th. He also started over 50 kilometers, where he was 30th and in the first biathlon individual, which he finished 29th. At the Biathlon World Championships in Umeå in 1961 , he finished 28th in the singles, in 1962 in Hämeenlinna he was ranked 38th and in 1963 in Seefeld in Tirol 45th. In 1964 he took part in his third Olympic Games in Innsbruck . As the only Brit who competed in biathlon competitions in 1960, he started again and turned 40. He also started again in cross-country skiing and was there 56th over 15 kilometers and with John Dent , David Rees and Roderick Tuck season 14.
