John Morbey

John Morbey ( John Michael Morbey; born August 9, 1939 ) is a former British - Bermudian long jumper , triple jumper and sprinter .

Starting for the United Kingdom, he retired in the long jump at the European Athletics Championships in 1962 in Belgrade in the qualification and was eleventh at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

As a representative of Bermuda, he won silver in the long jump at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston in 1966 and came in 15th place in the triple jump. Over 100 yards he was eliminated in the quarter-finals and in the 4-by-110-yard relay in the run-up.
