John Haymes Newton (born December 29, 1965 in Chapel Hill , North Carolina ) is an American actor .
Life
At the age of 19, Joh Haymes Newton moved to New York City to study drama. After working as a model for three and a half years, studying and occasionally appearing on theatrical stages, he made his debut in 1988 as the main character of Clark Kent in the television series Superboy . But after the first season and 26 episodes, he was replaced by Gerard Christopher , who embodied the character until the end. Since then he has appeared in television series such as Melrose Place , Desperate Housewives and The Mentalist , and has starred in films such as Survival! and the gene soldier with.
In addition to acting, Newton makes money as a healer.
