John Nicholson (athlete)
John Nicholson ( John Patrick Nicholson; born July 30, 1889 in Greenville , Pennsylvania , † April 2, 1940 in South Bend , Indiana ) was an American hurdler and high jumper .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he did not reach the finish line in the 110 m hurdles and was eliminated in the high jump in qualification without a valid attempt.
In 1912 he became the US champion over the 120 yard hurdles.
