John Rinkel
John Rinkel (actually Jan William Joslin Rinkel; born March 24, 1905 in Hilversum , † March 13, 1975 in Gerrards Cross , Buckinghamshire ) was a British sprinter of Dutch origin.
At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928, he was fourth over 400 m with his personal best of 48.4 s and fifth in the 4 x 400 meter relay . Shortly afterwards, he won the 200 m World Student Championships .
In 1926 he became English champion over 440 yards .
