John Thomas (ice hockey player)
John Lawrence Thomas (born March 11, 1936 - February 7, 1995 in Melbourne ) was an Australian ice hockey player .
Career
John Thomas took part for the Australian national team at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley . With his team he finished ninth and thus last place. He himself was used in all six games of his team during the tournament and scored a goal in the 2:19 defeat against Finland . He also competed for Australia in the B World Cup in 1962 and in qualifying for the Olympic Winter Games in 1964 .
