John Westgarth Guy (* 1941 ) is a British diplomat .

Life

Guy was the United Kingdom's High Commissioner in Papua New Guinea from 1991 to 1994 .

Then he was Consul General in Saint Petersburg from 1996 to 2000 .

He was honored with the appointment as Officer of the Order of the British Empire .
