Donald Middleton

Donald King Middleton (born February 24, 1922 in Chicago , † 2015 ) was a British diplomat .

Life

Middleton was in World War II officer and came 1940 in German captivity . He was in the oflag IV-C .

He was Deputy High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in Ibadan, Nigeria , from 1973 to 1975 . Then he was High Commissioner in Papua New Guinea from 1977 to 1982 .

He was honored with the appointment as Commander of the Order of the British Empire .
