Career

As a young player in the area of the Bruins, Peirson did not have high hopes for a career in the NHL. However, a betting scandal in the 1947/48 season enabled him to make the leap to the NHL, where he initially earned $ 4,500 a year with the Boston Bruins . He took the chance and developed into a solid attacker who could score over 20 goals four times. This also earned him two nominations for the NHL All-Star Game . After the end of the 1953/54 season he ended his career, but after a year break he returned for another three seasons in the NHL.
