Johnny Van Haeften
Johnny Van Haeften (* 1952 in London ) is a British art dealer of Dutch descent.
After graduating from Eton College , his professional career began at Christie's auction house . After eight years he left the auction house . He founded his first art gallery with his wife Sarah . He is the founder and owner of the gallery in London named after him, the only one in London that specializes in Dutch and Flemish masters of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Van Haeften is co-founder, curator and longstanding participant of The European Fine Art Fair . He is also a curator of the Dulwich Picture Gallery and a member of the Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art , a UK government committee that assesses the export of national works of art.
