The Johnston Fjord is a fjord with almost vertical rock walls on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located west of the Stornes peninsula in the Larsemann Hills .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1988 after Douglas Johnston of the Royal Australian Air Force , who made the first landing in the Larsemann Hills on August 12, 1957 with a de Havilland Beaver .
