Jan-Pelle Hoppe (born June 7, 1999 in Varel ) is a German football player . The center forward is under contract with Kickers Offenbach .

Career

Hoppe comes from Varel in the East Frisian district of Friesland and enjoyed his football training at the regional club VfL Oldenburg up to the age of 12 . This was followed by a move to Bundesliga club Werder Bremen , for whom he played in various youth teams, mainly in attacking midfield. With the A-youth he failed in the round of 16 of the DFB-Juniors-Vereinspokal 2016/17 at 1. FC Köln , a year later on penalties at 1. FC Kaiserslautern .

For the 2018/19 regional league season , Hoppe was permanently integrated into the squad of third division Werder Bremen II under head coach Sven Hübscher , but only made five short appearances. At the end of the season, Werder missed the target of promotion as third in the table behind champions VfL Wolfsburg II and VfB Lübeck .

In January 2019, the striker received a one-year contract with Chemnitzer FC , who returned from the third division , after completing a trial training session during the winter break. However, the North German did not become active for the Saxons for the first time until the end of May , when the Saxon State Cup was won after a 2-0 win over future league rivals FSV Zwickau . In total, Hoppe was used for Chemnitz in 20 competitive games and was able to contribute six goals and two assists.

During the 2019/20 winter break, the attacker switched to the Southwest regional league team Kickers Offenbach , where he signed a contract that is expected to run until June 2021.
