Jomashoʻy is an urban-type settlement in the Uzbek province of Namangan in the Ferghana Valley and the capital of the Mingbuloq district .

The place is located about 25 km southwest of the provincial capital Namangan on the left bank of the Syr Darya . The nearest train station is Turakurgan on the Pop- Namangan railway line .

In 1972, Jomashoʻy received urban-type settlement status. According to the 1989 population census, the place had 9,303 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2000 the population was 10,100.
