Jonas Brazauskas (born August 14 . Jul / 27. August  1909 greg. , † 23. August 1979 ) was a Lithuanian footballer .

Career

Jonas Brazauskas started a club career with Kovas Kaunas . In 1926 he was able to win the Lithuanian championship with the team. From 1928 Brazauskas played at KSS Klaipėda . With the association of the Lithuanian minority in Memelland , he won the championship four times from 1928 to 1931. Two more championship titles followed in 1937 and 1938. Brazauskas also played for the clubs FK Sveikata Kybartai , Švyturys Klaipėda and MSK Kaunas . He let his career come to an end in 1939 at MSK Kaunas, an operating team for the Kauno maistas meat company .

In August 1930 Brazauskas made his debut in the Lithuanian national football team during the Baltic Cup 1930 against Estonia . In 1931 , 1932 and 1933 he took part in the Baltic Cup three more times with the national team.

Between 1930 and 1934 Brazauskas completed 17 international matches for the Lithuanian national team.
